Hi, I’m Henry. I opened the doors of my firm, Henry H. Jones, CPA in 1992 to coach business owners on their journey to personal and financial freedom by helping them create the business of their dreams. I started working in my parents’ business as a teenager in 1975 and quickly fell in love with the business world.

The struggles and challenges my parents faced in running their business and the effect it had on our family ignited a lifelong passion in me to help other business owners and their families. At times in my life, I have resisted this calling, but I know that I am called to work with business owners in this way.

Business owners start out with dreams of owning a business that will enhance their lives and the lives of their families. Freedom, both personal and financial, is often a part of those dreams. Too often, these same business owners wake up, look in the mirror, and realize that they don’t own their business, their business owns them.

Despite my best intentions, I’ve been there myself. In 2007, with body and soul, broken and battered, I set out on a journey that began in Tempe, Arizona. This journey is ongoing and has forever changed my life, helped me reclaim my dreams and healed my broken spirit.

My experience in Tempe led me to begin the Masters Program in January of 2009. At the completion of this program in January of 2011, I earned the title “Master Advisor.” In this program, I learned that my self-limiting beliefs were the only things standing in my way. I learned that life is all about freedom. I learned that we can have everything we want in this world and that it can be easy.

Since then, I have continued the journey as a Master Advisor and continued to learn and grow along the way. The next step in this journey is to bring the peace and freedom that I have found to other business owners. There is no better way to learn than to teach. Kim Jones - Office Manager & Client Services DirectorKim Jones

Kim is the firm’s Office Manager and Client Services Director.  She has worked closely with her husband, Henry, for many years.  Kim loves working with the clients and providing them with timely and accurate information (with a smile).  She says “Making the clients lives easier by taking care of the details so that they can have more time to do the things that they love is the most rewarding aspect of what I do.”

Kim graduated from Bluefield State College with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration specializing in marketing and management.  Before working in her current position, Kim worked as a Marketing Director in the accounting industry.  She is the former owner of Jones Appraisal Service, a real estate appraisal firm serving southern West Virginia and southwest Virginia.  She is also a former Real Estate Broker.

Kim is passionate about spending time with her husband, Henry, and two children, Daniel and Mary.  She has homeschooled both children through the eighth grade and her oldest, Daniel, is attending public high school.  “I love the time we spend together, whether we are cooking, doing chores, or relaxing by the fire on a cold evening.  I have so many great memories of traveling and exploring God’s beautiful creation with my family and it is such a joy to work with other families to help them to gain freedom and peace in their lives.
